Preheat the Oven: Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
Caramelize the Onions: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add onions and sauté for 6–8 minutes until soft and caramelized. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
Cook the Beef: In the same skillet, add ground beef, Worcestershire sauce, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Cook, breaking up the meat, for 6–7 minutes, until browned. Drain excess grease and stir in the caramelized onions.
Prepare the Rolls: Using a sharp serrated knife, cut the Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally, keeping the tops and bottoms intact. Place the bottom halves on the parchment-lined baking sheet.
Assemble the Sliders: Layer 6 slices of cheese over the bottom buns. Evenly spread the cooked beef mixture over the cheese. Add the remaining 6 slices of cheese and distribute the pickle chips over the top. Place the top halves of the rolls over the sliders.
Butter & Bake: Melt butter in a microwave-safe dish and stir in sesame seeds. Brush the butter mixture evenly over the tops of the rolls. Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until golden brown and cheese is melted.
Make the Burger Sauce: While sliders bake, mix mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, pickle juice, garlic powder, chili powder, and black pepper in a small bowl. Stir until well combined.
Serve & Enjoy: Slice the sliders and serve with burger sauce for dipping!
