Sweet Tomato Basil Sparkling Ade
  1. Wash and score each cherry tomato so it has a + shape at the top

  2. Pour boiling water over tomatoes until completely submerged, let it sit for 5 minutes

  3. Peel the tomatoes, set aside

  4. Wash and dry the basil leaves, and cut into ½ inch pieces

  5. In a bowl, mix sugar and peeled cherry tomatoes. Then mix in the basil

  6. Transfer to a clean glass jar or container with an airtight lid, and leave in room temperature overnight.

  7. Store refrigerated. Enjoy as a drink with 2-3 Tbsp of tomato basil cheong (syrup), ice, and a tall glass of sparkling water
