Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Grease 24 muffin tin or line with muffin liners.
In a mixing bowl, mix flour, cornmeal, baking powder, and salt and set aside.
In a stand mixer, cream together butter and sugar until lightly fluffy.
Beat in eggs one at a time.
Then add the dry mixture and milk alternately until just combined.
Fold in cheddar cheese and sausage.
Pour batter into 24 muffin tins.
Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown and the toothpick comes out clean.
Allow to cool and enjoy!
