Preheat your oven to 350° F. Line a metal 9x9 baking dish with parchment paper.
Add the sugar and eggs to a large mixing bowl. Beat with an electric mixer on high speed for 3-4 minutes until the sugar is dissolved.
Whisk in the melted butter and vanilla.
Add the flour, cocoa powder, and salt, and fold in until you have a thick batter.
Pour the batter into your baking dish and bake for 33-38 minutes.
Let brownies cool for at least 1 hour before slicing.
