Puff Pastry Wrapped Baked Brie With Mushrooms Rosemary And Garlic
  1. Heat oven to 400℉/200℃.

  2. Line a small sheet pan with parchment paper. Set aside.

  3. In a small skillet over medium heat, melt butter.

  4. Add mushrooms, garlic, and rosemary.

  5. Sauté until mushrooms are cooked through, about 3-4 minutes.

  6. Add white wine.

  7. Continue cooking for 1-2 minutes, or until mushrooms have absorbed wine. Set aside.

  8. On a lightly floured surface, roll puff pastry to 1/16 inch.

  9. Place brie in center of dough.

  10. Top with mushroom mixture.

  11. Fold dough up and over brie.

  12. Place on prepared pan.

  13. In a small bowl, beat egg and water until smooth.

  14. Use a pastry brush to brush mixture over entire surface of pastry.

  15. Place in freezer for 15 minutes.

  16. Remove from freezer and place in oven.

  17. Bake for 30-35 minutes, until pastry is golden brown.
