Brown the meatballs in a large Dutch oven over medium heat, then set aside.
Add onions and peppers to Dutch oven and saute until tender.
Add corn, garlic and spices and saute until fragrant.
Add potatoes, broth, meatballs and corn cobs to the Dutch oven.
Simmer the soup for about 30 minutes.
Remove corn cobs, serve and garnish as desired.
