Preheat oven to 180°C
Blind bake 1 sheet of shortcrust pastry until lightly golden
In a saucepan, melt together butter, caster sugar, honey, vanilla, salt, and cream
Once smooth and bubbling, stir through flaked almonds
Pour mixture over the pastry and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden and set
Let it cool for 10 minutes
Chill in the fridge for at least an hour before slicing
