Honey Almond Slice
  1. Preheat oven to 180°C

  2. Blind bake 1 sheet of shortcrust pastry until lightly golden

  3. In a saucepan, melt together butter, caster sugar, honey, vanilla, salt, and cream

  4. Once smooth and bubbling, stir through flaked almonds

  5. Pour mixture over the pastry and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden and set

  6. Let it cool for 10 minutes

  7. Chill in the fridge for at least an hour before slicing
