Potato Gratin Recipe Without Cream
  1. Wash, peel if desired, and slice potatoes very thin

  2. Rub baking dish with garlic and butter

  3. Layer potatoes with cheese until dish is filled

  4. Heat stock with nutmeg, salt, pepper, then pour over potatoes

  5. Top with butter, bake at 190°C/375°F for 45 minutes until golden

  6. Sprinkle with parsley before serving
