Lithuanian Potato-meat Dumplings (cepelinai)
  1. Mix ground meat and chopped onion

  2. Add salt, pepper, and egg; mix well

  3. Separate the potato mixture into three parts

  4. Flatten each part in your hand and put a spoon of meat mixture into the middle

  5. Form the potato mixture around the meat mixture, forming a longish shape

  6. Place the formed dumplings in a pot with boiling salted water

  7. Boil for 20 minutes

  8. While the dumplings are boiling, fry the bacon and chopped onion

  9. Serve dumplings topped with the fried bacon and onion mixture, with sour cream on the side
