  1. Mix custard: In a large mixing bowl, whisk together Yakult, eggs, heavy cream, maple syrup, and kosher salt until smooth. Pour the egg mixture through a fine-mesh metal sieve into heatproof bowls that will fit in a steamer. Mix in 1 teaspoon of ground sesame into each of the bowls.

  2. Steam custard: Insert metal or bamboo steamers on top of a shallow pan filled with water. Bring the water to a simmer over high heat, then turn the heat to low-medium. Place the bowls with the custard into your steamers above the water and cover the steamers with a lid. Steam for 16 to 20 minutes, until the custard has set and the surface is smooth and jiggly.

  3. Remove the bowl, then chill in the fridge for a few hours until cool. Once chilled, top the custard with halved strawberries, chopped peanuts, and fresh mint. Serve cold!
