Add softened salted butter to the bowl of a stand mixer or hand mixer. Beat on medium-high speed for 10 minutes, stopping to scrape the sides of the bowl half way through. It'll be pale and fluffy.
Mix in the powdered sugar 1 cup at a time on low speed, stopping to scrape the sides of the bowl occasionally. Mix in cinnamon until combined.
Add the honey and vanilla, mixing on medium speed for 3-5 minutes until well combined and fluffy.
Use immediately or transfer the frosting to an airtight container and store in the fridge. If you're storing it in the fridge, pull it out 2 or 3 hours before you use it and then give it a quick little whip the best he can with a whisk to loosen it.
