Place the Ham in a saucepan with 750 mls of the cider (Keep 250 mls or half a can for the glaze), Apple, cinnamon, garlic Cloves and Black-pepper.
Bring to the Boil and simmer on a low heat for approx 80 mins or so. Check if it's cooked through by piercing with a knife or a skewer.
Remove from saucepan, remove the top hard layer of fat. Score crosses into the fat and apply the glaze.
Bake in oven at 190 C for approx 20 mins or until the top is crispy and golden. Baste half way through. Add more glaze to serve.
To make the glaze: Add 250mls of cider and 100g brown sugar to a saucepan. Bring to the boil and keep at a medium/high heat until the liquid begins to reduce. You should be left with a thick syrupy glaze to apply to the Ham.
