Italian Apple Farm Cake
5 apples (ginger gold, or something tart)
2 lg eggs
1 cup of sugar
½ cup of flour
½ cup of milk
3 ½ tbspns of butter (unsalted, melted)
3 ½ tbspns of Olive oil
1 tspns vanilla
2 tspns of baking powder
Core and skin apples. Slice them very thin.
Mix eggs and sugar until white. (I use a mixer)
Add flour. Mix. Add milk. Mix. Add butter. Mix. Add vanilla. Mix well. Add baking powder. Stir well.
Add apples and mix it well.(do not use mixer for this part)
Bake at 375 degrees. Use 11" cake pan.
10 minutes on the floor of the oven. 50 minutes in the middle.
This is a very similar recipe, but it looks a bit prettier.
