Grind old fashioned or steel cut oats in a grinder or food processor.
Put ¼ cup of ground oats into a 16 oz. mason jar.
Top off with distilled water.
For thicker oat milk, use 1 cup oats to 3 cups water.
Let it sit out for an hour or two, stirring occasionally.
Put it into the fridge overnight.
Shake occasionally.
Once ready, strain the oat milk using cheese cloth.
Use the oat milk in any soap recipe by replacing the water with oat milk.
