Homemade Buns
  1. Mix yeast in warm water.

  2. In a separate bowl, mix hot water, sugar, and butter.

  3. Add the yeast mixture and knead until dough forms an elastic ball (roughly 10 min).

  4. Cover with a towel.

  5. Knead the dough down every 10-15 min over the next hour.

  6. After the final kneading, shape the dough, let it rise, score, and egg wash if desired.

  7. Bake at 375 F.
