  1. Boil the apples with a small amount of water until soft.

  2. Drain off any excess liquid.

  3. Blend or mash until completely smooth.

  4. While still warm, stir through the gelatine until dissolved.

  5. Using a hand mixer, whip until thick, fluffy and pale in colour.

  6. Pour into a lined container and refrigerate until set.

  7. Slice into pieces
