  1. Rehydrate the yeast in the warm water.

  2. To the warm milk add the butter and egg.

  3. In the bowl of a stand mixer, mix the flour, sugar, salt, water, and milk mixtures.

  4. With a dough hook; mix just until it becomes a ragged ball.

  5. Let rest 15-25 minutes.

  6. After resting; knead 10-12 minutes, adding a little flour if the dough is too sticky.

  7. After kneading; cover and let rest until doubled in size.

  8. Preheat oven to 350ºF.

  9. Turn the dough out on your bench; divide into 16 pieces.

  10. Shape the pieces into balls and place in a greased 16x9" glass baking dish.

  11. Cover and let rest, until buns double in size.

  12. Bake for about 25-30 minutes, or until the internal temp is at least 190ºF.
