In a skillet, cook ground beef and sausage until no longer pink. Drain and set aside.
Preheat oven to 425°F. Line pie pan with bottom crust.
Sprinkle mozzarella over the crust to prevent sogginess.
Spread meat, pepperoni, sauce, and seasonings evenly.
Add remaining cheese and cover with top crust. Brush with butter mixture.
Bake 20–25 minutes until crust is golden and filling bubbles. Rest 5 minutes before slicing.
