Pat the wings and drumsticks very dry with paper towels.
Put them in a large bowl and toss with: baking powder, salt, garlic powder, smoked paprika, pepper and onion powder.
Arrange on a wire rack over a sheet pan so air can circulate.
Heat oven to 425°F.
Bake 40 minutes, flipping halfway through.
Cook until: skin is deep golden And internal temp reaches 175–185°F (dark meat gets more tender at higher temps).
In a small saucepan over medium-low heat, melt butter.
Add BBQ sauce, honey, vinegar, and paprika.
Simmer 3–5 minutes until glossy and slightly thickened.
Toss the hot chicken in the sauce in a bowl. Serve immediately.
