Roast the Mac nuts by putting them in a hot frying pan(no oil) toss about until you can smell the nuttiness and they change colour. Set aside
Beat the butter and sugars until creamy
Add the eggs one at a time and beat well between each addition
Add the vanilla
Add the flour, bicarb, baking powder and combine together
Add the nuts, and white and dark choc chips
Take half the cookie dough mix and spread at the bottom of a prepared 9x9 inch square dish
Whisk the can of caramel treat and spread over the 1st layer of cookie dough
Then sprinkle the remaining cookie dough over the caramel treat. Spread it out.
Place in the fridge for 1 hr
Then bake 180C for 40-45 min
Cool and then refrigerate until cold.
Slice into bars or slices and enjoy.
