Deep Fried Cajun Corn Ribs
  1. Remove the husk from the corn and wash it thoroughly.

  2. Cut the corn in half lengthwise, then make another slit down the middle of each half.

  3. Heat the oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F.

  4. Carefully add the corn ribs to the hot oil one at a time, frying them for 5 to 7 minutes until they turn golden brown.

  5. Once the corn starts to curl up like ribs, they are ready.

  6. In a separate bowl, prepare the butter sauce by combining melted butter, minced garlic, onion powder, smoked paprika, Cajun seasoning, and a pinch of Old Bay.

  7. If available, mix in some lemon zest for added flavor.

  8. Place the fried corn ribs in a serving bowl and drizzle the butter sauce over them.

  9. Toss the corn ribs to ensure they are well coated with the sauce, then serve and enjoy.
