Melt-in-your-mouth Apple Milk Bread
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a loaf pan.

  2. Peel and dice the apples into small pieces. Toss them with lemon juice and cinnamon to help prevent browning and add extra flavor.

  3. In a large bowl, crack in the 3 eggs and whisk with the sugar until smooth.

  4. Add the milk, melted butter or oil, and vanilla extract. Mix well.

  5. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.

  6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring just until combined. Do not overmix.

  7. Fold the diced apples and raisins into the batter.

  8. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.

  9. If desired, sprinkle with brown sugar and a little cinnamon for a lightly caramelized crust.

  10. Bake for 45–55 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean or with a few moist crumbs.

  11. If the top begins browning too quickly, loosely cover it with foil during the final part of baking.

  12. Allow the apple loaf to cool in the pan for about 10–15 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack

  13. Slice once slightly cooled and enjoy warm or at room temperature!
