Homemade Chocolate Sauce
  1. In a cold saucepan, whisk together the cocoa and the sugar until all lumps are removed.

  2. Add the salt and the water and bring to a boil over medium-medium high heat.

  3. Reduce to a gentle simmer; stirring constantly.

  4. Simmer for about 30 seconds and then remove from heat.

  5. Let cool and then add in the vanilla.

  6. Pour into a glass jar and allow to cool.

  7. Refrigerate until needed.
