  1. In a pan add rice, cinnamon sticks, star anise, and almonds. Toast until the rice get lightly golden brown.

  2. Place in a bowel and add water, soak for 6 hours.

  3. Add the everything to a blender along with Sweetened condensed milk, sugar, vanilla, and half of the milk and blend.

  4. Place cheese cloth in a fine mesh sieve. Pour everything in the blender into the cheese cloth. Squeeze as much liquid out as possible.

  5. Pour the liquid into a pitcher and add the other half of milk.

  6. Stir and pour over ice.
