Ground Beef Pot Pie With Cheddar Bay Biscuit Crust
  1. Brown 1 pound of ground beef with diced onion and minced garlic

  2. Season with 1 tablespoon Mrs. Dash, ½ teaspoon black pepper, ¼ teaspoon thyme, and 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

  3. Microwave 2 chopped yellow potatoes for 5 minutes

  4. Add the potatoes, 1 bag of mixed vegetables, and 2 cans of cream of mushroom soup to the beef mixture

  5. Mix well and taste to adjust seasoning as needed

  6. Mix cheddar bay biscuit mix with ½ cup cheddar cheese and 1 cup milk or water

  7. Spread the meat mixture into a 9x13 baking dish

  8. Drop the biscuit mixture by spoonfuls on top and spread with a spatula

  9. Bake at 425°F for about 15 minutes

  10. Mix the seasoning packet with 3 tablespoons melted butter and brush on top when done
