Vori Vori De Carne
  1. Sear your seasoned beef shanks in a hot pot and set aside

  2. In the same pot, add the onions, garlic, tomatoes, bell peppers, squash, and carrots

  3. Season with oregano and sauté for 2-3 minutes

  4. Return the beef to the pot and pour in the beef stock

  5. Cover and cook for about 2-3 hours, or until the beef is tender

  6. Remove the beef and chop it into bite-sized pieces

  7. Combine corn flour, cheese, salt/pepper and a little of the broth until the dough is soft and pliable

  8. Roll the dough into balls of desired size

  9. Add the vori vori balls and chopped beef back into the pot and cook until the balls float to the surface

  10. Serve and enjoy
