Heat olive oil in a saucepan with some minced garlic and shallot.
Add ditalini Pasta & stir for about a minute, being careful not to burn the pasta.
Stir in seasonings.
Add chicken broth & water. Let boil until most of the broth is absorbed.
Add heavy whipping cream
Stir in butter and juice of 1 lemon.
Stir in Parmesan.
Top with fresh Parmesan and Lemon Zest!
