Frosted Gingerbread Brownies
  1. Preheat to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9×9-inch baking dish with parchment.

  2. Combine melted butter, brown sugar, eggs, molasses, and vanilla in a large bowl.

  3. In another bowl, whisk flour, ginger, cinnamon, baking powder, and salt.

  4. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet mixture until smooth and thick.

  5. Spread batter evenly and bake 28–33 minutes, until edges are set. Cool completely.

  6. In a saucepan, whisk milk and flour until thick. Cool completely.

  7. Cream butter and sugar, add cooled mixture and gingerbread spice, then beat until fluffy.

  8. Spread frosting evenly, slice, and serve.
