Easiest Biscuit Recipe
  1. Add flour, baking powder, and salt to a large mixing bowl.

  2. Grate the butter into the dry ingredients. Use a pastry cutter to incorporate until the mixture becomes crumbly.

  3. Add milk/buttermilk.

  4. Mix just until combined. Do not overmix.

  5. Turn dough onto floured surface. Turn a few times. Roll out until ¼-½ inch thick.

  6. Cut biscuits out with biscuit cutter or mason jar lid. This recipe makes 7-8 biscuits depending on how thick you roll them out.

  7. Place on prepared baking sheet. Brush with olive oil or melted butter.

  8. Bake in a 400 DEGREE F oven for 12-15 minutes.

  9. Check after 10-12 minutes. If the biscuits feel firm, they are done.
