Instructions
1- Grease and line a square tin, being careful to leave enough baking paper on the sides to help you remove it from the tin once set.
2- To make the base, crumb the Chit Chat biscuits in a food processor and blitz until breadcrumb texture. Add the melted butter and blitz again until combined.
3- Press the base mixture into a rectangular tin. Place in the fridge to cool while you prepare the filling.
4- To make the filling: In a large bowl, combine the boiling water and jelly packets. Stir until the jelly crystals dissolve before adding the condensed milk. Whisk to fully combine.
5- Pour the mixture onto the refrigerated base
6- To make the topping, follow the jelly packet instructions to prepare the jelly along with the added gelatine powder.
7- Allow the mixture to cool to room temperature before pouring onto the chilled slice. Refrigerate again for a few hours until the jelly is fully set.
7- Remove the slice from the tin and cut into squares.
