Air Fryer Sweet Potato Fries
  1. Heat an air fryer to 400°F. Meanwhile, peel 2 medium sweet potatoes. Cut the potatoes lengthwise into ¼-inch-thick planks. Stack a few planks and cut lengthwise again into ¼-inch-thick matchsticks, and repeat as needed.

  2. Transfer the fries to a large bowl. Add 1 tablespoon canola oil, ¾ teaspoon kosher salt, ½ teaspoon garlic powder, and ½ teaspoon paprika, and toss to combine.

  3. Lightly coat the air fryer basket with cooking spray. Working in batches if necessary, place a single layer of fries in the basket (they can be touching but should not be stacked). Air fry until starting to brown in spots, 10 minutes. Shake the basket to flip the fries and arrange in a single layer.

  4. Air fry until lightly browned and crispy, about 3 to 5 minutes more. Remove from the basket. Repeat air frying any remaining fries as needed and serve immediately with the dipping sauce.

  5. While the fries are air frying, place ½ cup mayonnaise, 2 tablespoons ketchup, ¼ teaspoon chili powder, ¼ teaspoon paprika, and ⅛ teaspoon kosher salt in a small bowl and stir to combine.
