Preheat the oven to 350°F and lightly grease an 8-inch square baking pan.
Place the chopped dates in a bowl and cover with the boiling water. Let them soften for 10 minutes, then mash into a thick mixture.
Whisk together the eggs, Greek yogurt, honey, and vanilla.
Stir in the oat flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.
Fold in the softened dates and any remaining soaking liquid.
Spread the batter evenly in the prepared pan.
Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until the center is set and a toothpick comes out mostly clean.
To make the sauce, gently warm the milk, date syrup, butter, and salt in a small saucepan. Remove from the heat and whisk in the Greek yogurt.
Poke small holes across the warm pudding and pour half of the sauce over the top. Serve with the remaining sauce spooned over each piece.
