Soak your kidney beans overnight with garlic cloves, allspice, thyme, scallion, and pimento pepper.
The next day, add your smoked turkey necks to your pot. Sauté them with a little bit of oil to help release the flavor into the pot.
Add in your drained dry kidney beans. Mix well to let the kidney beans absorb the flavor from the turkey necks.
Add in water, enough to boil the beans down. Season the pot with the seasonings listed above.
Add in your corn and let everything boil on medium heat for about 45 minutes to an hour.
After that, add in your pumpkin soup packet and your green bananas. Let this cook for another 30 minutes. At this point, your turkey necks should be soft and the kidney beans should be getting softer as well.
Add in the rest of your ground provisions (carrots, pumpkin, potatoes). Add in your coconut milk. Cook until those are soft but not mushy, another 12-15 minutes.
Make your dumplings by mixing flour with about 1 tablespoon of cornmeal, a pinch of salt, and water. Form a soft dough and then roll out into spinners. Add this to your pot and let the dumplings cook for 5-8 minutes.
If the liquid in your pot is running low or getting too thick, add more water.
Serve and enjoy!
