Cut lean beef into 1 inch cubes
Slice the onion

Add sliced onions and cook until softened
Add garlic paste and ginger paste, cook until fragrant
Add beef cubes and brown on all sides
Add Nihari masala and hot red chili, stir well
Add salt and water to cover the beef
Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer
Dissolve flour in water to make a slurry
Add flour slurry to the pot to thicken the gravy
Continue simmering until beef is tender
Garnish with cilantro, fried onions, julienne ginger, and serve with limes
