Nihari
  1. Cut lean beef into 1 inch cubes

  2. Slice the onion

  3. Heat neutral oil in a pot

  4. Add sliced onions and cook until softened

  5. Add garlic paste and ginger paste, cook until fragrant

  6. Add beef cubes and brown on all sides

  7. Add Nihari masala and hot red chili, stir well

  8. Add salt and water to cover the beef

  9. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer

  10. Dissolve flour in water to make a slurry

  11. Add flour slurry to the pot to thicken the gravy

  12. Continue simmering until beef is tender

  13. Garnish with cilantro, fried onions, julienne ginger, and serve with limes
