I typically double the sauce recipe. I used 9 Persian and kinda measured with my heart. This is 1 of two jars!
I make some minor adjustments like: adding a little salt and garlic powder, ponzu, red pepper flakes, and if you wanna make it more spicy (but like sneaky spicy) use cayenne. But taste after you feel like it’s enough bc when you eat it—usually it sneaks up on you—then add more if you want it to burn your lips like us 🤣😬
I used marinara sauce with some heavy cream instead of making the sauce from scratch for an easy meal! Perfect for one person when you half the recipe. I can’t wait to make it with the from scratch sauce as well.
