Vey tasty. My family would prefer slightly less ginger. I used Napa cabbage with ribs removed. Next time I will double Napa cabbage because Napa lost more volume while cooking. Flavor was much mor subtle than coleslaw mix. Tight roll is critical for frying.
So easy and delicious! Recently tried the recipe using button mushrooms and adding them as a topper to pasta with béchamel sauce. Recipe works with big or small mushrooms (*adjust cook time for smaller mushies!) I brush the outsides with coconut oil instead of Step 2.
doubled it which was a mistake (12 servings) and the onions steamed the bacon a bit too much before actually cooking it.... but it still came out delicious.
