I love everything about this bread. It's light, airy, tasty, stays fresh longer than most breads, and it makes the most fabulous french toast and just regular toast. I made the jump to buying a Pullman bread pan and don't regret it. Makes a great loaf. I got the recipe from America's Test Kitchen. It uses the Yudane method. I don't know how it works, but it does.
I'm always looking for ways to make pork chops juicy and tender, aside from putting them in the crockpot. This recipe wasn't quite it. They were good, mind you, and the sauce was nice, but they just weren't tender enough. Then again, maybe it was the meat. It's hard to find good meat at a grocery store these days. I will try them again sometime.
A great way to use up garden veggies and herbs. Super simple and tasty. I grew heirloom tomatoes and those worked just fine; just squeeze out some of the seeds & pulp. I've also made it with thawed frozen corn.
