Good thing pecans are so expensive, otherwise I’d be making these every week. I get the best flavour with dark brown sugar, but these were made with golden and they’re still pretty good! A perfect treat for calving season! 🩵

Skipped the shortening (it’s not included in her cookbook version). Amazing!! Really be sure to place cookie dough at least 2” apart and make them smaller than you think. I also halved the icing.

I may have found my first Broma dud :( Maybe my ingredient proportions weren’t perfect enough. I’m still happy with this recipe and it fulfilled my sudden cupcake craving 🧁
