Halved the recipe. Added 1/2 tbsp Old Bay right after the potatoes and broth before they simmered and I think this made it. I added a bit of salt and pepper along the way and it needed only a little more at the end. Whatever spice amount called for is way too low lol
Used fresh oregano, and seeded the tomatoes. Because of this, I don’t think the sugar is necessary at all. I just smashed up the garlic cuz that’s how I like it in pomodoro sauces at restaurants. I think I want to figure out a better tomato/maybe go all the way and peel off the skin also but this was very clean plate club vibez Oh! I also put in a dash (tablespoon to quarter cup idk?) Chianti when I put in the broth, brought to boil for 30s then simmer. It married the sauce better imo
