My oldest daughter just returned from a trip to India, and brought me home some authentic masala and other spices. We use them in this dish and it turned out really good. We did not marinate the meat more than 15 minutes and it was fine
Delish. We used canned pineapple and did not cook it. We also just use the instant pot to cook on the meat setting a couple of times till the roast was finished. The juice in the bottom after the instant pot cooking was really good poured over the rice and the meat in the bowls.
