I’ve made this recipe about 4 times now. It’s absolutely delicious and is now my favorite banana bread recipe.

Made this exactly per instructions except that having no fresh basil on hand, I opted to substitute dried. I used the same amount that was called for if using fresh. Pretty sure that was a mistake. It was still quite tasty, but the basil was a bit overpowering. I think it would have been better with about half as much. Also, this recipe seemed pretty labor intensive. I feel certain that there are simpler recipes that would be just as good. The laborious process is enough for me to doubt I’ll ever make it again even though it was very good.
