4 hours on high was perfect. I added nothing, not a drop of water. The sweet potatoes were soft and sweet, and there was lovely natural syrup in the bottom. (I didn’t stuff them; just cooked in the crockpot and mashed with butter, salt, and pepper. 5-year-old grandson loved it.)
