Whomp, whomp! I burned it! Well, it was still good. The only thing I changed was adding cottage cheese to the aioli. Im on a protein journey, and I add protein to every meal I make. I happen to like cottage cheese blended smoothly, and it works well in this dish. There were no exact measurements for this recipe so use your heart and happy eating!!

This was pretty good. I might even call it addictive. I made a few changes because I used what I had on hand. I used a Tbls of cottage cheese (blended til smooth) to add protein. I used garlic and herb cream cheese instead of plain whipped. I used regular Kraft mayo because I didn't have any kewpie. I didn't toast my sesame seeds, but i dont think that step wqs necessary. If I'm honest, the crab and avocado didn't add much to the recipe. It tasted pretty good without those additions. Maybe my avocado wasn't ripe enough, but it didn't need to be there despite this being a play on a California roll. Overall, it was a delicious recipe and I will probably make it again.

Made a remixed version of this dish because I wanted more protein. I didn't have any shrimp, so I used steak strips. I used cottage cheese blended until smooth with about 2 oz of Fairlife milk and 1 Tbsp of bone broth instead of cream. I also added sun-dried tomatoes because I like them, and replaced the chili oil with chili crisp because that is what I had on hand. It was really good. I will probably make it again.

They taste very healthy... Not labor intensive but time consuming. Tasted of chocolate chips and tahini. Not bad but not something I need to make again. 3 out of 10
