~4.5lbs yellow onions -> ~3.5lbs diced (extra lenient on peeling outsides) -> 1.25lbs caramelized onions = maybe a tad too much for some people, but was able to spread out all of them across both slabs without any leftover
Baking the rolls is 10000x easier than trying to do a pan. Just do 350F with interiors down until golden brown (5-10min) then flip and let inner part of interior finish browning (2min)
- needs gelatin, otherwise falls apart - push hard into loaf pan, else the top has gaps/bubbles - very greasy when cooking, might need to clean up oil that comes out as it cooks with paper towels/whatever so it doesn’t splash or catch fire - very good, hit all around
