Tried to cut this down, and did 15 (San Marzano) tomatoes + 3 brown onions. Ended up a bit more onion-y than I'd expect, and I cooked a bit longer (maybe not necessary as then it was v thick when cooled) - very delicious either way
Delicious! Changes: diced the candied lemon finely; had to prove for ages to double in size (did 1st prove in fridge overnight + a few hours outside fridge); the buns were burned after 30 mins => drop the temp and watch carefully.
