It was weirdly sweet. Is that how tinga is supposed to taste?!

This is an excellent, easy recipe. I was afraid it would be dry and not sweet enough, but it was perfect. I had to cook it about 35 mins overall. Start at 25 and add if necessary. I added toffee bits to the top, but they didn't add anything special. I would make this again.

Edited recipe ingredients to reduce original 2 tbsp of toasted sesame oil down to 1 tbsp.

Edit recipe ingredients to leave raw jalepeño out of sauce.
