I melted a half stick of butter into the cast iron skillet before adding the batter. When it was baked, I added a half cup of cheese to the top and put it under the broiler.
These were delicious. But honestly, how can you go wrong with flapjacks!?! I overestimated the amount of cottage cheese I needed to blend, so I increased the recipe by about 1/4. I did not use cinnamon, but I used cinnamon bun protein shake to thin out the batter a bit. It was still a little thick, which resulted in pancakes that were a little dense, but they still tasted light and fluffy. Since I cooked it in butter, I didn't add any to the top. I drizzled it in a strawberry balsamic with a bit of honey for a delicious finish! Give it a try, you'll love it, and you'll add some protein to your breakfast!
Lol didn’t cook this but I hope you see this post. I use this icing is amazing and it would go good with these cookies. I’ve used it for macaroons before, too. I usually don’t put the food coloring. And I use Cara Cara or Valencia oranges. Is no my page too.
Add a full 6 ounce can of tomato paste this time. Added more salt and low buillion, use the spices recommended to my own discretion. Came out amazing The salt level was perfect.
