I added some cubed portobello mushrooms. Set the beef in at 1 pound chunks. May have been better to add them in to the crockpot as 10 meatballs? Worth looking into. The flavor for this one is 100% there but it felt like the cheese sauce curdled with the acidity that was there with the rest of the meal (tomato sauce and turkey pepperonis in particular). Definitely need some minor refinements.
Browned some orecchiette noodles in olive oil. Added about a cup of chicken stock, salt, pepper, and some red pepper flakes. Bring to a boil then simmer for 8 minutes. Threw some cooked chicken in there and let it warm up. Plated then added Parmesan cheese, black pepper and drizzled some olive oil over it.
