I usually do 375 degrees and layer parchment paper on the sheet pan before laying out my bacon. Since we buy thick cut as a rule, usually bake time is closer to 45 minutes-I check it in 15 minute intervals. 1st interval rotate the pan, 2nd interval check usually I flip the bacon over and move it around to equalize the baking speed somewhat. 3rd check is to see if it’s ready and if not usually I add only 5 minutes.
Par-baked potatoes tonight, in fridge for AM shred or cube for cheesy hashbrown potatoes (casserole) for Easter lunch/early dinner with the fam Sunday afternoon. These shredded nicely and tasted better than defrosted frozen hashbrowns in my dish. Will definitely do this going forward.
This worked well, I also did a presoak with arm & hammer laundry soda then washed hot, added a rinse cycle and did a vinegar rinse on that last rinse cycle. So much grime gone from this white microfiber pillowcase!! Very pleased.
Made this today-double batch due to roasted garlic I already had on hand and needed to use up. Pressure cooked the chickpeas beforehand as usual-saved the bean cooking water to use in the hummus. Refrigerated everything overnight so the bean cooking water was close to "ice cold".
