People REALLY liked this one. It is super tasty and easy to make, but I would make just a few small changes. 1 - do 50/50 roasted and fresh. 1/2 can roasted chickpeas, 1/2 can fresh. 1 pound roasted broccoli and 1/2 pound or 1 head blanched broccoli just to lighten it up. Also there was more dressing than I needed, so I think the addition of some more broccoli should soak that right up. Just call me the fartmaxxer!
Sohla did it again! These are excellent sticky buns, and everyone liked that they weren't TOO sweet. I agree, but there is something about the taste that kinda puts me off. Something about dates. This wouldn't replace cinnamon rolls for me, but it's an excellent second choice.
If you told me to make a "breakfast salad" that requires greens, I think I'd have to name this one. It's got eggs, bacon, and potatoes, but it still feels light yet filling. The only changes I made were double the potatoes (low in calories, high in fiber, plus needed to use some up), and drained the grease before mixing everything together. I did not want to have that much grease in my salad because it upsets my stomach. Honestly, I don't think you can tell. I know dressing usually uses a high amount of oil or fat, but I don't mind a dryer salad, because usually I'm getting bites of greens along with potatoes, egg, and more. 6-minute eggs are still pretty runny, so keep that in mind for preference. You could go up to 7 or 8 if you wanted firmer eggs, but you get the gorgeous orange color from the lower cook times I think. I don't know, I haven't experimented with it yet.
